The story behind the name
My ultimate goal for every woman I work with is for her to discover her worth. We are usually our own toughest critics and can often find ourselves saying unkind things to ourselves. I have personally experienced this, and I can honestly say that I would still be caught in that cycle if I hadn't found my way to Jesus. I devoted so much time and energy to chasing after my worth in various things such as fitness, a specific body shape, my career, and even in the roles I played as a mom and wife. Yet, each of those pursuits ultimately left me feeling empty and unfulfilled until I discovered my worth in Jesus Christ. It was through Christ that I found my true identity. I am a child of a King who made me in his image and loves me so much, he sent his son to die for me. He sees me as chosen, fearfully and wonderfully made. This changed how I feel about myself both in the mirror and as a person. I now have freedom from the words I used to speak about myself and also freedom from expectations set by others. My prayer for each person that comes across this page is for them to know that they are also created in the image of a perfect King, who loves them so much and desires a relationship with them.
Who does God say that we are in Christ?
I am fearfully and wonderfully made
For you created my inmost being: you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..
Psalms 139:13-14
I am made in the image of a perfect King
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them: male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
I am chosen
But you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9
I am loved
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
I am Gods masterpiece
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
